Here are all the verbs!

ANDARE (to go)

  • io vado
  • tu vai
  • lui/ lei va
  • noi andiamo
  • voi andate
  • loro vanno

Let’s use this verb in a sentence:

"Io vado in palestra tre volte a settimana" (I go to the gym three times a week)

Try to create a sentence with this verb! If you want to you can post it in the comments under the video and I will check it for you!

DARE (to give)

  • io do
  • tu dai
  • lui/ lei dà —- BE CAREFUL HERE!!! you need to add that little accent on the A to distinguish it from the preposition DA
  • noi diamo
  • voi date
  • loro danno

Let’s see it in a couple of sentences:

  • I bambini danno da mangiare al gatto (The kids give food to the cat).
  • Date una mano alla mamma con la spesa. (Give your mom a hand with the grocery)

FARE (to make / to do)

  • io faccio
  • tu fai
  • lui/ lei fa
  • noi facciamo
  • voi fate
  • loro fanno

Here is the verb in a couple of sentences:

  • "Stasera faccio la pizza fatta in casa per cena" (This evening I will make homemade pizza for dinner)
  • "Fai i compiti e poi vai a giocare" (Do your homework and then go play)

STARE (to stay // to be ...depending on the context)

  • io sto
  • tu stai
  • lui/ lei sta
  • noi stiamo
  • voi state
  • loro stanno

Here is the verb in a couple of sentences:

  • "Noi stiamo bene!" (we are well)
  • "Sto qui ancora un po’ e poi vado a casa" (I will stay here a little bit longer and then I will go home)

This last verb STARE is very very important and I strongly suggest that you learn it now so that you will not have any problems when you will learn the form with STARE + GERUNDIO and STARE + INFINITO!
