Conversation Lessons

Each lesson is structured to work on a specific topic (eating out, traveling, shopping etc..usually something that deals with real life situations or Italian Culture).

The aim of this type of lesson is to:

• add vocabulary that can be used in everyday situations
• break the "speaking barrier"
• work on pronunciation

• What is the payment method? You can decide to pay by wire transfer or through PayPal or Stripe. For Groups each student will be invoiced individually. 
• How do the classes work? The classes are online. I like to use Skype or Whereby. The teaching material is included in the price and you can receive it in advance if you want to print it before the class. I work with materials like reading and videos (from YouTube) that I select and send out to my students depending on their level and their learning needs.
• What will I achieve? The aim of my lessons is to have the student feel comfortable and at ease speaking Italian. With these conversation lessons grammar explanations are not the main objective but should there be a specific need (recurring mistakes during the conversations) we will go over the grammar topic in question. Homework assignments will be linked to videos, reading and listening exercises.
• How long is a lesson? Normally, one lesson lasts one hour. 
• When can I start? Whenever you want. I work Monday to Friday in the morning (Italian time). Just contact me by email ([email protected]) to find our my current availability.
• Can I cancel or reschedule a class? You can cancel or reschedule a class, with 24 hours notice. If not, you will have to cover the cost of the class. 
• What happens if my connection has issues during the class? You will be able to reschedule the class for a later date. If it is a persistent issue, you will need to fix the problem to continue taking online classes. If, on the other hand, I have connection problems, you will not be charged for the class and you will be able to reschedule it for a later date.
